What Readers are saying about PAMELA YAYE novels:
SEDUCED BY THE PLAYBOY
Newscaster Angela Kelly is tired of covering celebrity news and is itching for the chance to do some hard-news journalism. Her latest series on bad-boy athletes has made her bosses happy, but there’s one person who isn’t happy with the coverage — baseball player Demetri Morretti, one of the athletes she featured. After a confrontation at the TV station, during which heated words are exchanged, Demetri attempts to bury the hatchet by agreeing to an exclusive interview to clear his name. Before the interview can even take place, sparks fly and the commitment-phobic Angela must decide if she’s ready to go one on one with her heart. The passion and the deep analysis of each character’s actions will keep readers entertained. The story moves at a realistic pace and is a very satisfying read…Romantic Times, 4 stars
DESIGNED BY DESIRE
It’s after fashion week in New York City. Mentally I never thought about what happens after a great fashion show. Designed for Desire took us there. Yes there were unanswered questions however that is the allure of continuing to read in this great tribology of books. Excellent plot and story line. If you want to mentally visualize what happens when a man finds his soul mate. Just watch Colin Childs go after Brianna Hamilton with passion. Has me on the edge of my seat wanting more….Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
I loved this book about Brianna Hamilton and Colin Childs. This is a great series written by several authors. I hated to see this book end. I loved experiencing Paris, New York, and St. Thomas through the main characters’ eyes. Brianna and Colin had unhappy pasts and they had to decide whether to hold onto past hurts and betrayals or look to the future. Their journey accompanies sizzling romance and tender emotions that will keep you guessing until the end…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
Pamela Yaye’s Designed by Desire was a wonderful read. This is the second installment in the Hamiltons: Fashion with Love series. It was love at first sight for Brianna Hamilton and Collin Childs. I love their interaction and chemistry. I really enjoyed how the second book picked up and continued the flow of mystery and intrigue. A must purchase…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
As part of a celebrity design family, Brianna Hamilton works hard to make sure she and her family are always seen in the best light. While in Paris for a fashion show, she meets and becomes intrigued by Collin Childs. After a steamy affair, she returns home, back to the real world. When she reconnects with Collin on American soil, the two try to put their past hurts behind them and embrace a new future together. Yaye provides just enough mystery to keep readers of this series enthralled with the drama surrounding the Hamilton family. Having two main characters who are divorced and wary of opening their hearts again is a great twist…Romantic Times, 4 stars
PASSION BY THE BOOK
Passion by the Book focuses on the trials and obstacles couples face after the honeymoon is over. In this story we meet Simone and Marcus Young, a couple married five years with a set of twins and trying to maintain a balance between love, work and raising a family. Simone feels Marcus has stretched himself thin with building his empire and has no time for her or their family. She is tired of the bickering and seeks the assistance of a self-help book to try to rekindle their relationship. Will she succeed and is Marcus willing to change, readers will need to pick up this one to find out.
Ms. Yaye did an excellent job developing these characters and bringing real-life issues to the forefront of some marriages, which makes it realistic for readers to relate. The theme this book really focused on was that marriage is also a job that both spouses must be willing and commitment to making it work and learning how to listen each other. The pace of this book was good and flowed very well. This is the third book by Ms. Yaye, I have read and I have not been disappointed…Urban Divaz, 4 Divaz Starz
This book is a reread for me! There is passion, passion and even more passion. There’s good passion, bad passion, sexual passion, secretive passion. It’s just full of freaking passion. And the drive-by one did on their spouse! Whew!!! Here you have a couple, already married and everything, who on the outside seem perfect, but deep down they really aren’t. There are so many issues they are dealing with and not communicating about. At least not to the right people. They wonder and ask honest to God questions about whether their love is true or not. Were they meant for each other? Was the whole thing a mistake? Did he ever love her to begin with? So many questions married people wonder about now-a-days after being together for so long and start to take notice about certain things. And can I just say, Ms. Yaye delivered, she answered all the questions and more. Just know that other than this being a must have-must read right now book, it can also help someone who may be going through the exact thing or something similar. This isn’t just a romance book to indulge in, it’s a romance/self-help book that has all the right things…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
I loved this book. It had me thinking deeply about marriage. The couple was wealthy and everything was designer which is pure fantasy. The family dynamics, strains on their marriage and the emotions expressed were real. Sometimes I was on her side and other times on his side. I was deeply embedded into the storyline. The ending was nice….Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
Simone and Marcus Young are living in the lap of luxury due to Marcus’ successful string of gyms. Though the two are still in love after five years of marriage, Simone feels that Marcus is spending more time working and less time with her and their twin sons. Fearing they are growing apart, Simone buys a book that promises to teach her how to seduce and keep her man. With subtle changes in her husband’s behavior, Simone is encouraged — until things take a turn for the worse. Yaye really sets herself apart by featuring an already married couple, offering hope and insight into how much work it takes to sustain a marriage…Romantic Times, 4 stars
Mrs. Yaye does it again. In Passion by the Book she shows her readers that love is not always roses and sunshine. There are going to be ups and downs and if you are committed to making the relationship work you are going to have put in work. Loved this couple and the characters in it. I cannot wait until we see more from this couple and their friends…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
EVIDENCE OF DESIRE
Pamela Yaye has yet to disappoint me. This book was such a page turner from the very beginning. I didn’t read the summary of the book prior to reading it, so the whole marriage of convenience storyline was a total shocker for me. I didn’t expect it at all so it made the book even more enjoyable for me. The chemistry between Harper and Azure was palpable. You could seriously feel the steam coming off of the pages whenever they interacted. Their love scenes were on fire also. They were probably some of the best love scenes that I have ever read in a Kimani Romance book. They really pushed the envelope and were extremely erotic which you normally don’t see from Kimani Press so that was a welcome change. Overall this book was great and a must read…Amazon Reviewer, 4 stars
Evidence of Desire by Pamela Yaye offers a poignant portrayal of a relationship of a couple each burdened in their own way by self-doubt. Ambitious journalist Azure Ellison, looking to take her career to the next level, accepts an unsavory follow-up assignment targeting Harper Hamilton to reveal family secrets. Accomplished attorney Harper Hamilton is more than happy to accept a meeting with the deliciously sexy Azure, as he cannot get her out of his head since meeting Azure at a photo shoot. As sophisticated Azure and gentlemanly Harper cautiously flirt their way through the meeting, warning flags abound for both. When Harper figures out the true nature of the Azure’s assignment and a secret Azure’s been hiding from him, he proposes a story that will benefit them both. All ears, Azure is stunned by his next words, “Marry me.” The proposed marriage-of-convenience would only be for three months, and the whirlwind courtship, marriage, and breakup would be a no-strings attached platonic arrangement. Azure would get to keep her job and advance her career. Harper gets free press coverage and a leg up over his cocky cousin. The question left on the table is how will Azure and Harper handle the simmering sexual chemistry they both have been avoiding?
I enjoy how Pamela Yaye writes characters that are accomplished in their own rights but inner securities bruise their self-esteem. Azure’s image-obsessed mother constantly berates her about her weight and compares her to her world-trotting sister; Harper’s father is never satisfied with Harper’s successes and makes his praise conditional on surpassing Harper’s flashy cousin. It will be a bumpy road for the couple to realize their own worth and their love for each other. Sometimes the reader may be upset by the actions of the hero and heroine and the ending might seem a little abrupt, but the passion between the couple is steamy and juicy enough to keep readers turning the pages. I am enjoying the inner turmoil’s of the Hamilton family and this adds another dimension to the story between the heroine and hero…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
ESCAPE TO PARADISE
Pamela Yaye’s new book “Escape to Paradise” is amazing. The heroine, Claudia Jefferies, an event planner from Richmond, Virginia needs to escape from the dirty deeds her ex-husband has done. They are both being investigated by the SEC. Little did she know that she would run into handsome Santiago Medina at the airport after her sister encourages her to take advantage of her timeshare in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The hero, Santiago Medina, a business consultant from Washington is fighting some demons of his own. He is traveling back to his birth home in Cabo San Lucas to visit his mother. Santiago had not been home in a couple of years, not since the car accident that killed his sister and he was driving the car. Together Claudia and Santiago find love despite their troubles. I really enjoy every moment of this book. Claudia and Santiago were destined to be together. True love is everlasting for this incredible couple…Jackie Roberts, (Kansas City, Missouri) 5 Stars
Romances make me happy; and when you throw in a sassy, Latin backdrop…I’m embarrassed to say that Escape to Paradise was my first romantic tryst with Pamela Yaye, but I guarantee it won’t be my last. The little surprises she wove throughout the plot made me giddy, and even made a passerby smiled when she caught me grinning with my nose deep in the book. I simply nodded with an even bigger smile when she said, “It must be good.”
Very good, in fact. Claudia and Santiago are three dimensional characters you fall in love with. Their fight against the ghosts of their pasts and poignant desires for happiness in the future compliment a plot flavored with delicious Spanish-inspired treats, both culinary and lustfully edible, making Escape to Paradise indeed an escape for the die-hard romantic… SisterFriendBookClub, 4 Sistah Hugs
Mrs. Yaye did it again. She has created characters that made you fall in love with them. I loved the characters so much that I just had finish the book fast to see how their love story would play out. This book was so good that I overslept the next day because I was up late reading. Fan for life!!!…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
Pamela Yaye has done it again. Once again she has had me intrigued from start to finish to see what will happen to the hero and heroine. Claudia Jefferies has had a rough year. She has divorced her conniving husband and she is still not able to move past from her relationship due to legal trouble that her husband was in while they were married. With some urging from her sister, Max, she decides to take a much needed vacation to Cabo San Lucas and she meets sexy Santiago Medina at the airport, given her horrible experience with men she is leery of any attention from the hot stranger. Both have demons and secrets to exorcise. And with some persistence and patience Santiago was able to win her over. There are some steamy scenes and lots of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed this read, can’t wait until the next book by Ms. Yaye!…Amazon Reviewer, 5 stars
PLEASURE FOR TWO
Ms. Yaye’s new story just oozes sensuality, and the love scenes will not disappoint readers who like their stories with sizzling love scenes. The love scenes will be memorable not only for their intensity, but the venue of these sexy escapades. Ms. Yaye must be complimented for allowing her imagination to pen these creatively sensual scenes.
This storyline also illustrates the point that if you focus on finding issues, you will, as there are several times in the story when both Dominique and Marcel almost sabotage their budding relationship, and each wonders if the relationship will make it to the next level. I enjoyed how Ms. Yaye showed, through her characters, how to accept the curves balls life will throw at you, but know that true love will accept you for the person you are.
PLEASURE FOR TWO takes place mainly in Seattle, but a trip to San Marco Island adds to the story’s romantic mood. Dominique and Marcel have a strong cast of supporting characters that provide advice, support and tension to keep the story lively. The sexy Marcel Benoit has definitely earned his place among the other Kimani Hotties!…Romance in Color, 4+ stars
This book starts off, Hot! As soon as you start reading you will be pulled in by the hotness from these two, Niveah and Damien. Honestly it will be hard to not feel it. Okay… Everything about this book is downright good! From the passionate scenes, to the exciting and intense build up, to the realistic characters and their journey to true happiness. You have a woman who lives and breathes her work. Feels that’s the only important thing her life. Her friends feel she needs to live a little, lighten up and have some fun. She does it and it is then she encounters a man who will rock her world and change her life! But… He doesn’t only rock her world in the bedroom, he rocks her world in the boardroom…
Whether you’re the uptight work-a-holic or the carefree outgoing one, or one of the persistent friends, you will indeed feel a connection with these characters. And that my friends is something you don’t find in many books.
If you are a fan of good romance novels, with GREAT story telling, realistic characters and situations, Promises We Make is definitely the book for you. Pamela does not disappoint! Two thumbs up!… Roniqua, (Houson, Texas) 5 STARS
I just picked up your book. It was so good!! Please make a part two!! I’m sad and excited… sad because it ended and excited because it was the best book I read this year!! You’re a wonderful author and I wish you nothing but the best in the future. Kendra St. John (El Cajon, California)
Niveah Evans is a creative director for an advertising agency who puts her work and job before anything else her idea of fun is staying home and watching TV or just chilling. Her friends Jeanette and Roxi feel she needs to get out and enjoy her life, she needs some excitement in it. Enter Damien Hunter who was at the bar at a New Year’s Eve party they were attending. On a dare from her friends she sends him a drink and then approaches him an instant attraction takes place especially after they have a dance. He invites her to his hotel room to see where things might lead, and it leads after some convincing on Damien’s part to a night of passion and a morning of him finding himself alone. It just so happens that these two end up competing for the same job, and it’s on from there. There are a lot of twist and turn’s and a very enjoyable story. Pamela Yaye brings to light some interesting medical scenario’s and show’s that there are good men out there who love’s and care’s about family above all else. I also love that she brought up to date from the Hollington series what’s going on with Terrence and Kyra. I found this to be a very good and fast read. I recommend this book whole heartedly so enjoy. Cudos!!! C. Smith (West Palm Beach, Florida) 5 stars
What an excellent read! Niveah & Damien were smoking hot! The love scenes were great, just what I like. Niveah’s friends were a hoot. I loved their chemistry and the way the sparks flew! Diana Johnson, (Kansas City, Missouri)
Not only was this book amazing, it was fantastic. As an avid romance reader, this is one book that has captured and held my interest throughout the whole book so much so that I read this entire book in one sitting. Yaye creates a couple that is not only realistic but exciting and intense. I recommend this book to avid romance readers like myself not only because it is an amazing read but also because readers gain a connection with the characters including Niveah, Damien, Roxi and Jeanette. BUY THIS BOOK! It honestly is one of her greatest! Amari Howard, 5 stars
PASSION OVERTIME
NFL great Terrence Franklin is back at his alma mater, Hollington College. He has been offered the head football coaching position, now that he has retired from the NFL. Everyone is ecstatic about him being back and bending over backwards to make his stay enjoyable. All except the one person he came back to see, Kyra Dixon. Kyra is Terrence’s one true love, although it has taken him 10 years to realize what a mistake he made breaking up with her. He is now back to make things right. PR director of Hollington College and Terrence’s ex-fiancé, Kyra Dixon is stuck with the task of getting Terrence to agree to become the head coach. Kyra is all business because she is not about to get involved with Terrence again, no matter how sexy and charming he is. Passion Overtime is a great read by Pamela Yaye. Lots of people will be able to relate to and reminisce about their college days. Yaye does a good job of giving background information that ties the plot together. Because this is part of a series written by several different authors, there are several storylines happening simultaneously. Yaye does a great job keeping them all straight. Passion Overtime is a nostalgic read…Urban Reviews
The things that hook me with a book are good plots, realistic dialog and great characters. I enjoyed this book’s plot. I went to FAMU (an HBCU) and it brought back great memories. I’m a serious football fan and loved Terrance’s character. His sense of humor was contagious. The author did a great job of capturing this demographics thoughts and struggles. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend…Amazon Reviewer, 4 stars
Yaye does a bang-up job of giving her characters depth as they struggle to give love a second chance in this emotionally fertile story. Kyra Dixon, the spunky, successful P.R. rep for her alma mater, Hollington College, must convince former NFL player Terrence Franklin to take the head football coaching position. But Terrence is her college sweetheart and the fiancé who dumped her when he joined the NFL. Now that he realizes Kyra is the only woman who loved him for himself and not for what he could provide, he wants her back. Persistence and patience have Terrence realizing that Kyra was more affected by their breakup than he knew. What will happen when his past threatens to put a permanent wedge between them?…Romantic Times, 4.5 stars
LOVE T.K.O.
The phrase “opposites attract” is true in this situation. The storyline is excellent, the pace is on point and the plot connects very well to the characters. It will definitely keep you turning pages, anxious to see what’s going to happen next. The love scenes come toward the end and add fuel to the fire. The secondary characters bring the energy needed to keep the story flowing. Rashawn’s family is energetic; they definitely come from a different background and I could relate to their story. Yasmin’s family is articulate, educated, and caring; I enjoyed all of them. I commend Ms. Yaye on an excellent read. LOVE T.K.O is a must read…Romance in Color, 4++Stars
LOVE T.K.O is a refreshing novel that reminds us of what love is really about. Pamela Yaye does it again bringing two individuals from different world into a blissful relationship. Dr. Yasmin Ohaji is a South African beauty who is a popular marriage therapist who has worked herself into a place that romance does not fit into her life but when she meets Rashawn Bishop after he came to her rescue she finds herself fighting the temptations that he presents. Pamela Yaye had me rooting for Rashawn from the beginning of the book as well as wanting to see Yasmin happy. She brings back the idea of what a relationship should really be about and how a man should treat a woman. LOVE T.K.O is definitely one of my top reads this year…. Amazon Reviewer, 5 Stars
Pamela Yaye steps out of the box with the characters of LOVE T. K. O. She shows us without communication the knock out is inevitable. With communication one can stand toe to toe, complete the entire ten rounds with both opponents coming out victoriously. While reading, I was yelling, and pulling for Yasmin and Rashawn because I could feel the chemistry between them the minute he stepped in front of her on page twelve. LOVE T. K. O. is one of my top twenty reads for the year… The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers, 4 Stars
HER KIND OF MAN
Her Kind of Man is well written, perfectly paced and contains characters that are real and likable. With just the right dose of humour and drama, Pamela Yaye’s story compels from beginning to end. First-grade teacher Makayla Stevens is having a hard time dealing with 5-year-old terror Terrance Blake, and his high-strung mother is too much for her. Enter the boy’s sexy uncle, Kenyon Blake, who Makayla has had a crush on since she was an overweight teenager. Kenyon is strongly attracted to Makayla, and concerned about his nephew. He works overtime to get them both past their fears and reticence about relationships… Romantic Times, 4 ½ Stars
Wickedly naughty, erotic, hot, passionate, and juicy to the very last drop! For the hopelessly romantic, this book is for you. In this tale, a love affair emerges between two people who could not be more different. Her Kind of Man touches on a very sensitive subject: self-image. The main character, Makayla Stevens, was overweight during her teen years, and although she was a knockout by the time she met her prince charming, she still battled with some self-image issues. I truly enjoyed reading this book, and I would highly recommend it because it was ummm..ummm…good!… SisterFriendBookClub, 4 Sistah Hugs
THE TROUBLE WITH LUV’
‘The Trouble with Luv’, is the first novel I’ve read by Mrs. Yaye and it was quite an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the differences between Xavier and Ebony. And I just loved the way he had that foot and mouth disease, where he kept putting his foot in his mouth, by assuming the worse of Ebony and having to apologize BIG time. It was very endearing to watch them struggle with their desire. Yet, still they waited until they both knew the time was right to make that move towards intimacy. And when it finally happened, OH, MY…talk about HOT! Xavier and Ebony were as different as night and day, and yet when they were together they complimented each other spiritually, emotionally, mentally and definitely physically. This book once it got going was a page-turner with quite a few unexpected twists and turns. Looking forward to reading more from Mrs. Yaye… Barnes and Noble Reviewer, 4 Stars
OTHER PEOPLE’S BUSINESS
Other People’s Business by Pamela Yaye is a touching, romantic story. It will make you laugh, cry, or just sit and shake your head. Join Autumn and L.J. as they find love in an unexpected place: each other… PeoplewholoveGoodBooks, 5 stars
OTHER PEOPLE’S BUSINESS by Pamela Yaye is a beautiful love story between two people that have had their share of bad relationships. Through the turmoil, they find each other and fall in love…even with all of the obstacles they keep running into. If you enjoy good romance novels and are not too keen on the sappy kind, then this book is for you. Pamela Yaye put a few tear-jerking moments in there, but she’ll also have you talking out loud, yelling “Oh No He Didn’t!” at times too. I would recommend Other People’s Business to anyone who loves a happy ending… Urban Reviews
